Business people in Kirinyaga county have many reasons to smile from the day it was announced by the government that the celebration will be held in Kirinyaga county because the celebration has made them to benefit greatly in business. Many of them are working twenty four hours to maximize the profit since it will be for a short time.
Hotel businesses have registered many customers than they had expected for about two weeks now in Kirinyaga county. This is because many people had travelled to this county earlier than expected in order to prepare for mashujaa day, they have booked all the hotels, therefore hotel business is really booming for now.
There have been an increased employment in the last two weeks in Kirinyaga county because many businesses such as restaurants had hired many workers so that they can manage the large number of visitors in the area. They are working in shift so that they can offer quality services to all.
Transport industry has also been boosted for the last two weeks, all roads are heading to Kirinyaga because many visitors had booked for their seats early. Matatu and boda-boda operators are really enjoying the business right now, they just wish that the celebration would last forever.
Entertainment industry is also not left behind, local comedians had already been there one week earlier, the people of Kirinyaga county will live to remember this day because it had brought so much capital in their county.
