Evil people come from all sorts of places, often ones you would not expect. We find these bad people at our schools, at our churches and even places of worship. The study found out that these evil traits originate with placing ones interests over others, taking pleasure in hurting others in the process and not feeling guilty.
They have control issues. Evil people have this trait in common. They are controlling and often feel downright uncomfortable and powerless if they are not in control of every aspect of their lives. Malevolent people are often so cruel to the world and to the people around them that they can't entrust any part of their lives to another person.
They have a habit of lying. lying can be an altruistic pursuit used to protect people and prevent conflicts from escalating. This is simply not the case with evil people. More often than not, these people will lace lies together just because they feel like juicing up a story, even if it means adding details that didn't exist or speaking of someone without consent. Bottom line is, this people lie to your face because they do not value your trust or your friendship.
