It was a tragic day for Kenya on day Friday as it lost one of most Brilliant and Faithful servant in form of Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama who passed on Covid-19 complications.
The 74 year old governor who was serving his second terms left behind a beautiful wife and children having got married in 2003.
Naomi Ikonge married nyagarama as his second wife after, first wife Dorcas Sigara in 1998.
Dorcas had left behind 10 children with the politician which needed care and attention therefore banged his himself Naomi.
Few are known about First lady Naomi apart as she doesn't often make public appearances but online a few occasions as seen on her Facebook page.
In one of her posts that touched many was when she and some county delegations decided to visit a girl suffering from a mysterious disease to pray and help where possible in Kebirigo market.
Another time when she broke the headlines when she declared herself in the race to vie for county women Rep position in October 2019 a position then held by Jubilee’s Jerusha Momanyi.
She is the founder and Chairperson of Nyamira Girl Child Foundation which main aim is to end cases of girl child absenteeism in schools.
They ensures the process is successful by issuing reusable sanitary pads to schools.
