'I'll not invite Usual People on Jamhuri Day' Ruto Counterattacks Raila's Parallel Holiday

President William Ruto has counter attacked Azimio One Kenya plan to have a parallel Jamhuri Celebration on December, 12.

Ruto has made the holiday celebration to be different from what has been happening in the past years.

Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua earlier confirmed that the Azimio will host separate Jamhuri Day celebrations at Jacaranda Gardens.

In a response to Azimio, the president has decided to make changes for the first time in order to put more value to the upcoming national holiday.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga yesterday alleged that Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua have a very narrow view of the country that they neither know where Kenya has come from nor where they want to take it.

The president has now revealed what will happen during the Jamhuri celebration which he themed it as a innovation Jamhuri Day.

" I deliberately decided that this year’s Jamhuri Day is going to be profiled properly and themed as the innovation Jamhuri Day." Ruto said.

He explained that those invited will include officials from Facebook and Google.

" Instead of inviting the usual people who we invite, I have decided to invite our technology leaders worldwide from Facebook, Google." Ruto said.
