The Principal Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government programs PS Karanja Kibicho has visited the site where construction of a State Lodge is in Kirinyaga county.
According to the Ministry of Interior through their official social media accounts, the State Lodge will also double up as the official residence of the County Commissioner in charge of Kirinyaga county.
Karanja Kibicho has noted that the State Lodge will be completed not later than the 20th of October when the country will be celebrating the Mashujaa day eve in Kenya.
Karanja Kibicho visited the site of the construction of the State Lodge together with his National Celebrations Committee that he currently heads.

This year's Mashujaa day Celebrations will be hosted in Kirinyaga county in Mwea area and the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to attend the high profile event.
