The late Orie Rogo Manduli was a smart mother who stood out as a vocal and unique woman in her village. She liked doing things in her own way all throughout her life.
Even after her burial, Orie Rogo will be remembered for her outstanding personality and choosing to do things in her own special way.
Generally, the late Ambassador had a strong love for her culture. This has been proved during her final send-off.
There is one strange thing in the home of Orie Rogo Manduli that shocked the mourners. This is the table where guests are writing their condolence messages.
Normally, such tables are filled with flowers and candles but for the Orie Rogo's case, the table was strange yet unique.
Here are some items that have been placed on top of that table instead of flowers.
There are two stalks of sugarcane placed across the picture of young Orie Rogo on top of the table. The sugarcane is a symbol of her love for farming. Orie Rogo had a huge parcel of land in Kitale, where she would plant crops like sugarcane and maize.
2. A shoe
There is a black heel placed on the table to signify her love for fashion.
Orie Rogo used to appear everywhere in black sunglasses neatly lying beneath her head gear. Her love for sunglasses has been depicted in her final send off.
4. Turkana stool - Ekicholong
This is another strange item that shows the Orie Rogo's love for the African culture.
