Regular toothbrushing is important for both children and adults. It helps to remove the bacteria and plaque that cause tooth decay and gum disease. It is recommended that everybody brush their teeth twice a day – in the morning and before going to bed at night.
However, As easy as it may seem to do, very few of us brush our teeth as well as we could. Thankfully, where there are mistakes, there are ways to fix them. One of the big mistakes you do is going back and forth. Start from the gum, and go up and down,” in little circular, up-and-down motions. If you do it wrong, it won’t help you.
Secondly, most people tend to avoid the gum line. Bacteria often hang out where your tooth meets your gum. We miss that area a lot. Brushing you your teeth includes even the gum line to prevent bacteria infections.
