Armed with a list of companies that he claims are using his image wrongfully. Aron Asiiba Matendechele is demanding immediate compensation, after various corporates began using his image for advertising their products the trendy Mukuru Kea Jenga slum dweller claims he has not received any compensation.
In the court papers, it has been alleged that co-operative bank published a story containing his image on their Facebook and Instagram page on July 5 and 22 this year, captioned “ Banker akiona loan defaulter akikula kuku town,” with an image of him.
Matendechele still holds he has not signed any deals with the above-named corporates. And did not allow them to waive his privacy rights and did not allow them to use his image to advertise.
