"Should Appeal From Kamiti" DP Ruto's Allies Push For The Jailing Of DCI Boss George Kinoti

"KENYAN Court declines to grant orders to protect @DCI_Kenya boss Mr. KINOTI from entering the gates of PRISON.

Case to be heard tomorrow at 11.30am." Was the early report on the sentencing of Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss George Kinoti.

The DCI boss was sentenced to four months in Kamiti Maximum Prison for withholding the firearms belonging to tycoon Jimmy Wanjigi and not returning them when ordered.

There was an appeal made to do away with the four months jail, which some of Deputy President William Ruto's allies are pushing to happen.

Kikuyu Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwah is among the DP's allies who want DCI Kinoti to make his appeal while in Kamiti Maximum Prison.

"The law applies to everyone. He should be appealing from Kamiti. No court should liaten to him. @Kenyajudiciary must end this impunity." Kimani Ichungwah wrote.

Should DCI boss George Kinoti be jailed in Kamiti?
