AG Muturi Speaks After Being Sworn In As A Member Of The JSC, Promises To Do The Following

Attorney General Justin Muturi, has officially been sworn in as a member of the Judicial Service Commission, a ceremony presided over by the chief Justice Martha Koome.

Speaking after being sworn in, Muturi promised to give full support to the commission to enable it deliver on its mandate.

"I'm honored to join the Judicial Service Commission after taking the oath of office presided over by Chief Justice Martha Koome at the Supreme Court. May I assure you of my full and unwavering support and commitment towards the fulfillment of the role of the Commission." He posted on his official social media pages.

He promised to be a valuable player and be a link between the two arms of government, the Judiciary and the executive adding that he will ensure the two have cordial relationships.

"I promise to be a valuable team-player in the Commission and serve as a link between the Commission and the executive branch, as we work towards the realization of the constitutional mandate of the JSC, I will ensure that the Judiciary will have cordial relations with the Executive." He added.
