Worrying Details Emerge on The Supreme Court's Action As it Set to Hear BBI Appeals

All is set for the Supreme Court of Kenya to hear and determine the BBI appeals tommorow, Tuesday 18th January 2022.

Parties who filed for an appeal include IEBC based on the Court of Appeal question on its constitutional mandate as well as Attorney General Kihara Kariuki.

According to the source which could not be named,a question has arisen on why the Supreme Court is in hurry to listen to the appeals.

The source further said even if any of the parties fails in the appeals, there is no way the appeal can be launched or the ruling can be applied in the August elections.

The hurry by the Supreme Court to solve the appeals is seen in time allocated to the participants, where IEBC and Kihara have been given 45 minutes each to present their case.

The other party led by David Ndii and Jerotich Seii, have been given a total of over 2 hours to present their case.
