Deaths caused by police brutality in the Embu protest

Two men have died and two others injured by police during a protest in Kianjokoma Embu North Subcounty in Embu county.

The acting Embu county commander Kimani Wamitungo said there was a confrontation between anti-riot police and demonstrators who are protesting the death of two brothers who were arrested by police for violating curfew hours and later their bodies found in Embu Level 5 mortuary.

The Commander described the shooting as an unfortunate act.Wamitungo said tension is very high in the area and the two injured men have been rushed to Embu level four hospital.

The men died on the spot after they were shot. Kenyans are now in a state of Limbo, if the police are suppose to be investigating and bringing to justice the person responsible for the two brothers death or if more people are going to be killed by the same police over this matter. The Embu North Sub-County Commander police, said the matter was being investigated and if it was anybody negligence that led to the death of the two brothers, justice will prevail
