A Kitale Man 24-years old has been sentenced to 90 years imprisonment for violently robbing, raping as well as Killing his former Boss. While appearing before Kitale Chief Magistrate Julius N'garng'ar the accused Chris Wanjala was found guilty for attempting the offences.
Wanjala reported to have murdered his former employer Ms Lilian Bourcart 74-years old a Swedish who was conducting charity work in the area as well as running a children’s home.
One of the workers Philomena Chepkorir explained that she had reported to work at 8am as usual only to find the body of their Boss on the garage which also served as store with blood in her private parts.
Philomena said that the deceased stayed alone and she had reported earlier the day of murder for their boss. Upon finding their boss killed she raised alarm to police who came and moved the body to the mortuary.
"The deceased stayed alone and we were two workers but usually left for our respective homes after the day’s work. I raised an alarm and the police moved the body to the mortuary,” she testified.
According to N'garng'ar the accused finger prints were found in the deceased body and still new the home since she was her former Boss two months before the death.
