One man from Trans Nzoia has strongly defended his decision to sue his own son for allegedly neglecting him. According to him, it has been 17 years since his son got employed but he never receives any support from the son. He has now filed a case against him seeking legal assistance.
They say that the struggle to sustain themselves at old age has become a difficult hurdle since they do not have any source of income. Mr. Cherowo now demands a 20% share of his son's salary to sustain himself and the wife.
"He has never sent any money to me since he got employed," said Cherowo. He added that the son hardly receives his calls and when he calls them back, the call never lasts long. He wondered why their son finds it hard to take care of his own parents who raised him.
