Prosecutor Nancy Kerubo successfully prosecuted the case against them and urged the court for a tough sentence. The Senior chief magistrate at the court said the two accused persons are cruel, Barbaric and not Remorseful.

According to a post shared by the Star newspaper on twitter, Esther Boke in her judgement said, "the offence was committed brutally, the accused person short the complainants with a firearm and they were not firearm holders". The two are dangerous people who need to be kept away from the society and by doing so we will protect the community ".

The two had been accused of shooting the DCJ Mwilu's Guard leaving him with serious injuries.
