Chesamisi boys high school in Bungoma county, is the recent school that went on a rampage after students went on a strike. Following reports that emerged from the institution, in a grace period of two years, the boys have conduct strikes three times, where they destroyed a property of a huge amount of money.
For instance, during the recent strike, the boys broke the school store and the principles office, causing a rampage of approximately 7.5 million Kenyan shillings. A number of eleven students were arrested for being suspected, to have led the riot.
On 6th of December, the eleven students were taken to Kimilili law courts, for a court trial. Following court reports, the students defiled the case, a thing that made the judge to charge them one million shilling as they a wait for their case to be hard again on 20nd of this month. They will remain detained till their case is heard again.
Parents have felt the pain of this incident, as previously in a grace period of two years, they were forced to pay damage fee twice. Now they are pledging for the police to carryout their research and found out those responsible for the rampage.
