The dpp vows never to surrender

The director of public prosecution Moors in haji has swore to challenge a decision barring the arrest and prosecution of Lsl president Nelson Havi.

This is after a Nairobi court issued an order stopping the arrest and prosecution in a case which the president is accused of assaulting Lsk CEO Mercy Wambua.

The odpp in a statement intimated that the order was premature since no decision had been made concerning the case.

In a statement ''The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) confirms receipt of a duplicate file from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) relating to an assault charge against the President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), Mr. Nelson Andayi Havi based on a complaint by Ms. Mercy Kalundu Wambua, CEO of LSK,” read the statement.

The dpp further said that he will discharge his discretion as per the constitution should he find reason to do so.
