Ibrahim Rotich, the husband and main suspect in the murder of 25-year-old athletics champion Agnes Rorich is set to spend around 3 more months in police custody pending his bail application hearing.
Today, Eldoret court adjourned the case to March 9, 2022 due to the absence of residing judge Nyakundi who is away on official duties.
The hearing date was set by deputy registrar Diana Milimo. The court will also issue a date for hearing of the main case on the same day.
On December 3rd, the court had directed the probation team to work on the pre bail report to help on ruling whether Ibrahim Rotich could be released on bond.

Meanwhile, Agnes' father will continue being in charge of her property until the murder case is heard and determined. The family recently discovered secret rental houses under her name.
May Agnes continue resting in peace and may justice be served.
