Many Kenyans are currently going through a lot. Each and every day, we hear stories of different people going through hard times.
"I am in Kisumu doing stories and came across Evalyne. She is thirty three years-old and a first born in a family of 5. Her father was polygamous and married 7 wives. Both her parents died twenty years ago. She now takes care of her siblings with a salary of Ksh 12000," said Mr. Mwangi.
He further revealed that the person who helped pay her school fees throughout high school took advantage of her and sired two children with her, leaving her a teenage mother.
The activist further revealed that the little salary she gets is used to take care of her young siblings and her children. Pointing out that her siblings live in a shanty shown in the video.
Boniface Mwangi said that he gave the woman Ksh 10,000 and urged Kenyans to chip in with more help.
As Mwangi showed the seemingly dilapidated and untidy room with no chairs but clothes littered on the ground, Kenyans blasted him saying the woman should have swept the room clean and kept it tidy. See their reactions below:
