Judiciary Service Commission has today made another history after successfully nominated Justice William Ouko in unison. The JSC panel led by acting Chief Justice honorable Lady Philomena Mwilu decided after Justice William Ouko's outgoing performance. Despite his performance, Kenyans had predicted that he will cling to the seat following his experience.
For the last few days, the panel has been having sleepless nights as they get all the candidates. The following had applied for the post. They entail Justice Ouko, Justice Martha Koome, Kathurima M'Inoti, High Court judges Joseph Sergon and Chitembwe, Prof Lumumba Nyaberi, Ms. Yano, and Justices Marete and Nderi.
Martha Karua has sent a congratulatory message to Justice William Ouko Akello. According to her, Justice William Ouko deserved the elevation to the Supreme Court of Kenya. She has also lauded the entire JSC panel for their marvelous job.
