Dr. Miguna Miguna has demanded the Attorney General, Justin Muturi, and the Kenya Kwanza administration to follow Court orders and pay the damages awarded to him by Justice Chacha Mwita in 2018.
Any further delay in paying him his compensation, he claims, is justice denied. On December 4, 2018, Justice Chacha ordered President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration to pay Miguna Miguna damages following his deportation to Canada. However, President Uhuru Kenyatta declined to comply with the decision.
"I’m back home first week of January. I hope that AG Hon. JB Muturi and the Kenya Kwanza government will obey Justice Chacha Mwita’s orders of December 4, 2018 and pay up the damages the Court awarded in my favour before then. Justice delayed is Justice denied." Said Dr. Miguna Miguna.
It is now up to the JB Justin Muturi and Kenya Kwanza governments to pay up or not pay up his compensation in the coming days.
