Kenyans crowd in Bus stations heading to Nairobi for demonstrations

The day draws near as the awaited nation-wide demonstration declared by the Azimio leader arrives. News sources have revealed that bus stations have been flocked with Kenyans who are heading to Nairobi in preparation of the Monday, 20th March, 2023 anti- government.

Larger turnouts have been witnessed in counties such as Kisumu, Mombasa, Nyamira, Kisii and other parts of Nyanza province. Turnouts have also been witnessed in some of Ruto’s bedrock support counties.

The residents spoke to the media where they declared that they are tired of those being in the bottom of the social pyramid having to live on the hard economy brought about by the Kenya kwanza government. They also condemned the government for removing the subsidy on products such as petrol and demanded that they return back the subsidy, and remove the high taxation that has touched on many areas in their daily lives.

Speaking to the media, former journalist of Jicho Pevu, now a politician, Mohamed Ali, has said that the reason why Kenyans are living on economic hardship is because of two things, namely; the economic situation of the world, and two, the handshake and partnership of the Azimio leader Raila Odinga and former presidents uhuru Kenyatta.

He has condemned the Azimio leader and warned him that he is not above the law. He added that the Azimio leader has gone ahead to call for demonstrations because he has witnessed the firm foundation that is being set by the Kenya kwanza government and he wishes to destroy it before it becomes strong enough.

This comes a day after the Azimio leader was in Kiambu county, one of the UDA strongholds, where he mentioned that he cannot be threatened by the Kenya kwanza government. He adds that he is ready to even be assassinated as long as it ensures that the price of Unga drops to a favorable price for the hustlers the president promised to fight for.
