Has Raila Changed his Mind on Appealing The BBI Ruling? Plus Latest News From Court on AG's Appeal

Despite ODM leader Raila Odinga indicating that he will head to the courts to appeal the ruling that nullified BBI, it has emerged the ODM leader is yet to assemble his team of lawyers who will proceed to the Court of appeal.

Via a local publication, it has emerged Mr Odinga is currently enjoying a vacation in Watamu, Kilifi county. President Uhuru Kenyatta has already instructed the Attorney general and Solicitor general to act on his behalf.

Raila released a press statement over the weekend where he vowed to appeal the Court ruling as soon as possible, but close to 2 days later, his camp has been dragging it's feet on appealing the High court ruling.

Verified reports indicate the AG's application to have the court squash the ruling that nullified BBI has been certified as urgent. A 5 high court bench will make a ruling on the 26th of May.
