Theatrics was witnessed from Bungoma law court when a woman,18, identified as Shirleen Wafula shouted and cried uncontrollably after demanding the release of husband who was convicted for attempting to kill her by slashing legs and feet with a panga.
According to Joseph Wafula, a local or rather resident, the suspect, a general worker from a nearby flower farm is an irresponsible drunkard and spend most of the time moving from one alcohol bar to another taking illegal brew, have been implicated in similar cases before.
Speaking before residential chief magistrate, the outspoken lady disclosed that she has already forgiven her sweetheart and was ready to reconcile hence bring up the kids together.
Conferming the incident, the prosecutor Mr Julius Otieno have disclosed the signed affidavit and the charge sheet have already been tabled to judge's chamber and are waiting for a ruling tomorrow.
