Sakaja and Passaris partners to build a safe house for Gender based violence victims in Nairobi

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has today revealed that his county government led administration is partnering with Nairobi women representative Esther Passaris in building a safe house for Gender based violence victims in the county.

The duo today made an inspection tour to the underway facility at Mji Wa Huruma in Nairobi county to see the progress of its construction.

During the inspection tour, women representative Esther Passaris donated a car wash equipment to several groups in the area to cushion them and help them meet their daily needs.

" In partnership with women representative Esther Passaris, we are on course in putting up a safe house for victims of sexual Gender based violence at Mji Wa Huruma" tweeted Governor Sakaja.

" Joined our women representative to check on the progress of this where she also donated car wash equipment to several groups" added Sakaja.

Esther Passaris partnership funds for the construction of the safe house are from national government affirmative action fund ( NGAAF)given to women representatives across the country.
