A Naivasha woman identified as Beatrice Mwende, who hit the headlines after she brutally killed her 4 children in June 2020 has been sentenced to life in jail.
According to an update by Standard Digital, claims that she was possessed by evil spirits at the time when she executed the murders of the minors aged 8,6,4 and 2 years were dismissed by the court.
Mwende had claimed that on the fateful day, her ex boyfriend whom she had broken up with in 2019 sent evil spirits which commanded her to strangle the kids one by one. They had watched TV together on the fateful night before the evil spirits took over.
After the murders, she met up with the ex boyfriend. They spent time at a local bar before the police went and arrested her.
Mwende claimed that she needed prayers since she only got back to her senses two days after staying at the police station.
