Both Martha Koome and Ahmednasir Abdullahi are Kenyan lawyers and accomplished advocates of the High Court Of Kenya. But Martha Koome is the current serving Chief Justice of Kenya and the President of the Supreme Court Of Kenya. The Meru born CJ Martha Koome made history when she was appointed to be the first female Chief Justice succeeding the retired Chief Justice David Maraga.
Senior Council Ahmednasir Abdullahi has taken a swipe at Chief Justice Martha Koome after her latest statement. According to Senior Council Ahmednasir Abdullahi, he said better late than never for Chief Justice Martha Koome. This comes after CJ Martha Koome said that the enemy within the judiciary in Kenya is corruption and lack of transparency.
