The building bridges initiative bill was recently termed as unconstitutional document by five judges making it difficult to continue with the amendment of the constitution. The bench of five judges also said that the IEBC cannot continue to function with two officers as it may lead to some difficulties during elections.
The government through senior lawyer was to present appeal in court but unfortunately they postponed saying that the petition will be presented at the end of the week.
The bill that was rejected is now on the hands of the judges who will be hearing the appeal since the first attempt was rejected.
Despite building bridges initiative politics, Kenyans must know that the country has been affected by the covid-19 pandemic which many people now suffer without jobs and even food for their children.
All citizens are urged to observe the covid-19 rules and regulations from the ministry of health so that we can win this battle.
Wear mask and maintain social distance.
