Ahmed Ali today have emerged victorious after he was sworn in as the new governor of Wajir county. However, he is about to land in hot soup after a court in Meru county revealed this was not supposed to be done because it was against the Kenyan constitution.
The former Wajir governor was impeached yesterday after he was accused of misusing health funds. This made many health centers in that region have insufficient medical equipment, which became a huge blow to citizens who visited those places during this covid-19 period.
Ahmed Ali vowed to serve his people with dignity and also said that he will make sure that each hospital in his county has sufficient beds for patients. This is affecting many counties where health workers have been striking because of not being paid.
