"Kenya Wako Mbali Sana" Tanzanians React To Martha Koome's Chief Justice Appointment

Martha Koome made history as the first female chief Justice after she was selected by the judiciary service commission to succeed former CJ David Marsha.

Her name will be presented to Uhuru Kenyatta before being taken to parliament for vetting.

The Court of Appeal Judge was declared the winner by JSC chairperson in briefing to the press on Tuesday.
