"Please Have Mercy On Mom, Don't Take Her Away Too" Daughter To Principal Who Murdered Husband Plea

The sentencing of Jane Muthoni took place today virtually at the Nakuru High Court after she was found guilty of murdering her husband by hiring thugs who finished him.

The State Prosecutor, Justice Catherine Mwaniki told the court that Jane Muthoni deserves a death penalty for taking away her husband's life, and not taking into consideration what she was to do at her duty as a teacher.

The Court briefing was very emotional as the daughter of the late Solomon Mwangi and Jane Muthoni, June Mbuthi made her plea to the court.

According to Kenyans.co.ke news podcast, June Mbuthi pleaded to the court to have mercy on their mother as it will be so painful to loss another parent after losing their father five years ago.

June stated: "We all want justice for my father. He was my best friend but the absence of my parents has been so hard for my siblings and I for the past 5 years.

We request the court to have mercy on my mum. I know it can't be undone but we don't have anyone we can fully rely on. All that time, we have been depending on third parties like relatives and friends."

This is a very emotional type of case to deal with as the court has to take my into consideration of many aspects before giving their final verdict.

Should Jane Muthoni be forgiven or be given a death sentence?
