Maraga During recent swearing-in of Judges at statehouse
Former chief justice David maraga today was the chief guest at an event that was happening in Nairobi. This Was the first public engagement that David maraga is being involved in since the swearing-in of supreme Court judges that happened a few weeks ago when ruto took over the instruments of power.
Maraga was the key speaker at this year's African strategic human rights conference that officially kicks off today and was attended by among others top lawyers drawn from different counties in the country.
Maraga who was credited for being among the top lawyers who are in the judicial system in the country has been a strong advocate of human right and also the rule of law as saying that no human being in the country is superior and or above the constitution.
He Is being credited for being the first chief justice in the continent to nullify a presidential election forcing the Independent electoral and boundaries commission to conduct a free and fair election for a second time.
