She has revealed that the two if them met with the aim of discussing several issues among them how Kenya can strengthen her judicial cooperation with India.
The meeting came moments before she swore the members of the special tribunal that will investigate the four Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commissioners.
The swearing will take place at the Supreme Court of Kenya hours after it was set up by His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto.
In her message after the top meeting, the Chief Justice has noted that because both countries the legal systems are based on the common law, we have been able to have a free flow of legal information that has facilitated the development of a common jurisprudence and Indian authored legal publications are often quoted and used in our jurisdiction.
