'Sounds Like A High School Debate Club' Kenyans Agree With Mutahi Ngunyi About The BBI Appeal Case

The Building Bridges Initiative appeal case at the Supreme Court commenced on Tuesday, January 18 with different intelligent minds presenting their submissions either for the BBI proponents or the opposers of the bill.

Day one of the hearings was not short of drama with Senior counsel Martha Karua storming out during proceedings after the court resolved to exclude their clients from highlighting their submissions.

On Wednesday, activist Isaac Aluochier lighted up the BBI hearing with a bold claim that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Chief Justice Martha Koome were not their bosses.

Seasoned political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has been the latest figure to weigh in about the appeal case and the controversial professor has not minced his words about the ongoing case.

Ngunyi has likened the Building Bridges Initiative appeal case to a high school debate club where a war of words between learned minds has been evident and appeared to suggest the country had already moved on.

Kenyans have been quick to share their thoughts on these sentiments by Mutahi Ngunyi on the Building Bridges Initiative appeal case.
