'Unacceptable Anywhere' Martha Karua Breaks Silence After DP William Ruto was Attacked

Deputy President William Ruto's caravan was pelted with stones of Saturday during his second day in the Western Region in the wake of visiting Busia County.

A few young people lit huge fires and obstructed the street at Korinda Junction where Ruto's escort was to pass, stoned it before the group changed their course.

The formerJustice Minister Martha Karua censured the occurrence expressing that such demonstrations are not acknowledged and ought not be overlooked.

"Hooliganism is unacceptable anywhere ,' tweeted Karua.

UDA's facilitator in Siaya Pamela Ongoma said that the adolescents began tossing stones after Ruto's vehicle had passed.

Ruto censured the occurrence expressing that the nation is past the time of governmental issues that accompanies savagery.
