"Supreme Court is Not That Supreme" UDA Politician Says They Will Overturn SCOK On LGBTQ

Garrisa member of Parliament, Dekow Mohamed has called out the Supreme Court Over their latest ruling favoring the LGBTQ community. The renowned MP has stated that they will overturn this ruling in parliament.

This is happening at the same time when seven leaders, President William Ruto, the Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua along with the former prime Minister of Kenya, Raila Odinga have all called out the Supreme Court Over their latest ruling that has sparked Alot of mixed feelings from several Kenyans politicians.

President William Ruto who spoke about the ruling stated that in As much as they respect the Supreme Court, they, his government does not welcome the ruling of the court because, Kenya has its traditions and culture which he said must, will be followed by all Kenyans regardless of their economic status in the society.

I would like to call upon the lgbtq to not force me to do what can't be done because in Kenya everyone follows one law. The law is against marriage between people of the same gender and that is what is going to be followed. That is the law and since everyone must follow the law, we are not going to create any laws for these and that group, everyone MUST follow the law ~President William Ruto.

The Deputy president of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua who spoke about the matter on the other hand termed the actions of the members of the LGBTQ community as demonic, something that should not be considered in the country. According to the reports given by Rigathi Gachagua, he stated that he was yet to speak on this because the ruling made by the Supreme Court shook him.
