Parade protest

"We Are Not Stopping Until Freedom Is With Us" Azimio Allies Continue With The Mass Action In Kisumu

The mass action protests led by Azimio la Umoja are currently taking place in a significant city across the nation, according to information that reached our news desk this morning, Wednesday, 15 March.

To participate in the demonstrations, hundreds of thousands of locals, headed by bodaboda riders, flocked to the streets.

A day after Opposition Leader Raila Odinga declared the beginning of widespread action, it should be remembered that Kisumu County was the first county to record protests on Friday.

Citizens of Kondele halted traffic by blocking streets and main thoroughfares in order to demand a reduction in the cost of living.

An irate protestor grabbed a police instrument meant to block traffic during their Friday demonstrations.

After President William Ruto apparently disobeyed his demands during his 14-day ultimatum, the former prime minister Raila Odinga called for widespread protests.

Raila had demanded, among other things, that Ruto stop allegedly overtaxing Kenyans, stop allegedly victimizing the four IEBC commissioners, reduce the cost of living overall, reinstate all subsidies that had been cut off a few days after he seized power from former President Uhuru Kenyatta, and lower the price of basic goods like unga, fuel, and other necessities of life.

It is predicted that Monday, March 20th, will mark the culmination of Raila's massive protest. All of his fans from throughout the nation have been encouraged to travel to Nairobi on that day and take part in protests there.
