Tuju Gets A Dose Of His Own Medicine After Nelson Havi Deconstructs His Narrative On Judges Security

Today, Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju seems to have rubbed Kenyans the wrong way following his remarks on the BBI ruling that was made a few days ago. According to him, the ruling was ill-advised, and that judges should learn the act of interdependency which is key in all arms of the government.

However former Law Society of Kenya chairperson Nelson Havi has responded to his remarks claiming that the statement by Tuju is quite unfortunate since the judges and magistrates are members of government and their security should be guaranteed by the state.

He revealed that the constitution and the law demand that they be accorded security by the state and that they should not be intimidated. Havi has been celebrating recent announcements by the courts in regards to the BBI bill which was given a technical knockout by the high court. Do you think Tuju went overboard in his statement?
