Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr Speaks on the BBI Appeal Case to Supreme Court by the AG, Junet And Waweru

Following the latest unexpected declaration made yesterday by Attorney General Paul Kihara alongside the promoters of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Junet Mohamed and Dennis Waweru, Kenyans together with various influential individuals have been left in reactions.

Among those who have given this declaration by the AG and BBI promoters to proceed with the BBI case to the Supreme Court for a final hearing and verdict is Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior of Makueni County.

In his online statement, he has neither opposed the move nor oppose the decisions made by the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

According to the Senator, the appeal to the Supreme Court by the Attorney General and promoters of the BBI is more important for jurisprudence and prosperity.

On other hand, he has urged every Kenyan including the elite class to keep away some feeling and even creation of an impression that there exists some crisis because of the intended appeal or clauses in the bill.

Besides his view on the move to proceed with the BBI case to the Supreme Court, he has as well assured Kenyans of the exact date for the awaited 2022 general elections which will be held on the date 9 of August as per the election calendar of the IEBC.
