The International Criminal Court (ICC) based in Hague, Netherlands is concerned with investigating and prosecution of high level cases.

According to the Aljezeera News reported on Thursday, the court has found Dominic Ongwen to have been violating human rights. Dominic Ongwen is a Ugandan citizen who is the former Lord's Resistance Army Child Commander.

The Group is known for cutting off the mouths and noses of their captives. While reading his sentence, Ongwen was found guilty for 61 offenses. According to the family, the latter was abducted at the age of 9 years old while going to school and received a highly Millitary training from LRA. He was later promoted to be a commander.

While the family begged for the jail term to be reduced to 10 years, the victim wanted a life sentence. He has been spending his life in police custody from 2015 since he was arrested. This means that the man will have to spend another 19 more years in prison.
