Faulty Start For IEBC In BBI Appeal After Opposing Side Demand Part Of their Evidence Be Axed

The BBI appeal has begun today with a seven-member judge expected to make a final determination at the end of the submissions. However, the JLAK report has become a major concern in the appeal after one of the opposing sides claimed that IEBC is seeking to introduce new evidence which is against the law.

However defending IEBC, Otiende Amollo claimed that the registration process in the election body is a continuous process as recommended by the JLAK report and that the evidence was presented within the required time by the law and the courts.

IEBC which is seeking to have the court ruling overturned has continued to reiterate that the decision by the high court was in bad faith and that as constituted the body should be allowed to carry out its functions as an independent body. Kindly follow the writer for more updates on the same.
