Several lawyers have dropped their views concerning the BBI bill which was rejected by the High Court some few months ago as outgoing President of Law Society of Kenya Nelson Havi and Chief Justice Martha Koome exchanges words that have left judges in stitches. This incident happened after Havi exceeded the time he was allocated by the supreme court as he wanted to request if there is a question about his submissions and CJ Koome warned him that his time has elapsed.
"That's all about my submission and I have submitted my report to the seven judges for further clarification. Any questions up to that point?" Havi said.
"Havi, I think your time is over and we have to move on to the next hearing," CJ Koome said.
"My Lady, time is not going anywhere, and am submitting a serious report for millions of Kenyans. We have enough time to discuss the matter concerning the bill and no one should be forced to keep quiet," Havi said as judges started laughing and Koome waved at Havii that he should proceed.
