Ex-HomaBay County Officials Who Embezzled Ksh. 27 Million Sentenced to 6 Years, Court Rejects Appeal

The High Court has upheld the Ksh. 59 million fine for former HomaBay officials who allegedly embezzled Ksh. 27 Million belonging to the county of HomaBay.

In a news report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been revealed that the Suspects were arrested by police officers who were searching for the officials who had been accused of embezzlement.

According to the reports given by the police, it has been revealed that the Suspects were presented to a judge who Sentenced them to 6 years in jail or pay Ksh. 59 million divided among the Suspects.

In the latest news on their case, it has been revealed that the High Court has sentenced the Suspects to 6 years unless they pay the fine.
