JUST IN: The Truth Behind The ICC Warning Raila Ahead of Monday's Mass Action Revealed

On March 15, rumors began to circulate that the International Criminal Court (ICC) had issued a warning to Azimio Leader Raila Odinga about a probable plan for mass action.

Tweets erupted from social media users claiming that the Hague-based court had been closely monitoring Raila's activities and vowed to investigate any actions that threatened Kenya's peace and stability.

Yet, because no such remarks were made by the ICC, these statements could not be validated by any official sources. All ICC warnings and public notifications are generally issued through its official communication channels. Individuals would also be reached personally for confidential matters via email or direct calls.

Although these rumors were found to be untrue, it is critical to distribute only credible information. Individuals must do fact-checking and take personal accountability while reporting news in order to prevent generating misleading narratives that could destabilize a country's peace.
