The call by Raila Odinga to call for a mass action seems to have recharged several Kenyans across the country with a number of protest already being experienced even before the mega protest scheduled to happen on Monday. The Azimio leader has asked his supporters to come out in large numbers on Monday to ensure that they pile pressure on the Ruto administration to ensure that the cost of living comes down.
Today, residents of Thika took to the streets where they asked William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua to ensure that they lower the cost of living of they do not want the planned mass action. The angry residents said that they are ready to join Raila Odinga on Monday to push the Ruto regime to take action.

“We want Gachagua and President Ruto to know. If you don’t want demonstrations, bring the prices down.” Furious Thika residents demand President Ruto and DP Gachagua lower the cost of living.
