In addition, the bandits murdered one man, an action that stirred the protests today.The bandits have also injured two men as reported by Kameme FM news at 3PM.The residents have asked the IG and the CS for interior to intervene and offer them adequate security.They have claimed that their businesses can no longer have a smooth run with the kind of insecurity they are experiencing.
The Nation has also reported the unfortunate incidence with claims that herders' clash with the locals is the cause of today's protests.There is great need for the government to respond quickly to the protests to avoid more loss of lives in Laikipia.
