Nelson Havi, the former president of the Law Society of Kenya, stunned the court when he anticipated the manner in which he would die. This he stated during his statements to the court on Thursday, when the court's eight bench justices listened to the caretaker's views.
According to the outspoken lawyer who recently defected to Ruto's UDA, he is not afraid of death because everyone will eventually die. However, the most pressing concern is how they will die and in what state their lifeless souls will be once they have tasted death.
He claimed that he was aware of the possibility of assassination as a result of his strong beliefs, which he claimed he was prepared to confront while working for a better Kenya. He is one of the few lawyers who opposed the effort to resurrect the BBI.
Here is a video of his statement.
