Supreme Court Bars Ann Kananu From Being Nairobi Governor

The Supreme Court has issued orders temporarily barring the swearing in of Anne Kananu Mwenda as Nairobi County Governor pending the hearing of a case filed by former Governor Mike Sonko.

The apex court has issued the orders for a period of 14 days."Emphasise that the conservatory orders shall be for fourteen days," reads the orders.

Further Mohammed Ibrahim has coordinated that the document be put before the main equity to select a seat to hear the allure recorded by Sonko. The allure under the steady gaze of the high court has been ensured as dire. 

Sonko has moved to the Supreme Court to challenge the court of allure choice that made ready for Kananu's swearingin as Governor. 

"The emerging approaching conditions force an appointed Governor and the litigant has challenged that the learned adjudicators of the court of allure blundered in law and truth by ignoring the import of the swearing in of a Governor..," contends Sonko. 

He furthur claims that the court of allure passes judgment on blundered in law by ignoring his political privileges.
