Blame Game Takes Centre Stage in Tob Cohen's Murder Case

The lawyers standing in for the late Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen's family in the dragging murder case involving the late's wife, Sarah Wairimu, her lover, businessman Peter Karanja and Sankale Ole Kuntai, a senior judicial officer are currently embroiled in a bitter misunderstandings that threatens to expose the 'deficiencies' in the office of the director of public prosecutions.

According to lead lawyer Danstan Omari (Cohen's family lawyer), the DPP has deliberately failed to prefer charges to the suspects despite the directorate of criminal investigations furnishing his office will more than enough evidence.

Omari has now threatened to spearhead a drive to see Noordin Haji bundled out of that office over inefficiency.

In the meantime, a fiery Omari has called for the DPP's disassociation from the high profile case.

On the other hand, the DPP in his statement sent to media houses has clearly indicated that their was no sufficient evidence to be used against the suspects.

According to charge sheet, Sarah Wairimu Cohen is alleged to have killed Tob Chichou Cohen on the night of 19th and 20th, July, 2019 within Nairobi County with the help of accomplices.

Tob Cohen was first reported to have gone missing between July 19 and July 20 this year. The deceased tours and travel magnate had lived in Kenya for 32 years.

He and Wairimu were reportedly embroiled in a bitter divorce case which saw him file assault charges against her a week before he went missing.
