Family of Ngumbao Jola who Public Service Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa is accused to have murdered have claimed that their lives are in danger. The family says that the freeing of Jumwa has put their lives in danger and they no longer feel safe.

Ngumbao’s family says Jumwa is now a prominent person in government and that leaves them with a lot of fear. They say they suspect that something bad may befall their family and want the government to protect them from anybody who may have plans to harm them.

They have also said that they will not be pursuing the case further. They say it is only God who will serve them with justice because at the moment there seems to be no fairness that will be got from the courts. Family says court has already clearly shown that there will be no justice following the turn that the case has taken.

“Our family member was killed in cold blood and those present clearly saw what happened. We have been pleading with the government to help us get justice but what we have received in return is the key suspect being set free,” the family has lamented.
